I was born and raised in Troy, NY where I attended Catholic Central High School. I went on to receive my bachelor's degree from Manhattan College with a duel certification in general education and special education. I continued my education at SUNY Albany, where I earned my master's degree as a Literacy Specialist, birth through grade 12.
I began my teaching career in NYC, teaching Kindergarten and then in a self-contained preschool classroom. After moving back to the capital district, I had many great opportunities---teaching both special education, self-contained classrooms and general education, grades 3 through 8.
I currently live in Selkirk with my husband, Mike and our two children--Anthony and Riley. I am so thrilled to have the privilege to be a teacher at A.W. Becker. As a parent and teacher, I couldn't be more happier with my choice to live and teach within the RCS district!
